"The team made it to 17k, but couldn't go any higher on this trip. We spent a day resting at 14 k, then headed down to basecamp. We are now sitting at camp 1 in a big snowstorm, and hoping the weather will clear tomorrow morning to make it to basecamp and back to civilization."
