Mark Cionek called at 9am PST with the following dispatch for both Teams 7 and 8:
Mark reported that both teams are still sitting on the glacier waiting to fly out. The glacier has been socked in and it has not been safe to fly or land. Right when they arrived at base camp they were able to get four climbers from team 7 on a plane, they were Mark Horell, Eric Cholis, Courtney Cholis, and Tim Jowett. The rest of Team 7 and Team 8 are still at base camp.
The glacier has just cleared up and it would be safe to land today. Hopefully it's that clear in Talkeetna today too. If all goes well the teams will be flying off the glacier by about 10:30am PST. Keep your fingers crossed.
