Kurt called with a dispatch at 5:50 PM on May 3rd:

"Hey everyone! This is Kurt calling on behalf of Denali Team #1 Expedition. We’re currently sitting at our cache at 10,500 feet, after a very successful go up to the cache site. The weather is beautiful. It’s slightly overcast right now, but we had very beautiful views of the Kalhiltna today, all day! Everyone is moving very, very well. The weather is looking pretty promising and we’re all feeling strong. Right now we’re going to dig out our cache tonight and acclimatize a bit, suck in some thin air, and try to get even stronger. We head back down to Camp 1 this evening. We also move to Camp 2 tomorrow. So, we’ll talk to you guys tomorrow! We miss everyone; hope all is well at home. "
