Denali Team 5: May 27 to June 16 - Dispatch #7

Guides: Alasdair Turner, Chad Cochran, Higinio Gonzalez

Climbers: Mary Neave (UK), James Neave (UK), Alex Round (UK),  Daniel Hughes (UK), Knut Heggland (Norway), Guy Manning (Cayman Islands), Michael Rieder (Idaho)

Alasdair called at 3:15 PST on June 5th with the following dispatch:

Today is a rest day at 14 camp, and as Chad predicted in the previous dispatch, the weather has come in and we probably won't be moving for the next two days.

The team is keeping themselves busy by building an igloo to use for the bathroom facilities because it is so windy.  A tent from a Taiwanese team was uprooted and blown through camp, but I was able to snag it before it was blown completely away.

On the menu for dinner tonight:  bean and cheese burritos!

Is it wise to have bean and cheese Burritos before you have built the bathroom facilities?
Best of luck to everyone - hope the weather calms down and is kind to you.
Alex - Gary Cahill is out of the Euros as he broke his jaw in 2 places during a "friendly" against Belgium!
