Andrew Yasso called June 17th at 1:37pm PST with the following dispatch: Merry Christmas!!! I know that sounds weird but it seems like we woke up to Christmas at 11,200 feet up here on Denali. We've got snow blowing everywhere, it may be June 17th but here it feels like the middle of December. However, it is June 17th and it's Father's Day and all of us want to wish our Father's a Happy Father's Day, and thank you for all the support.
We are thankfully going to have a weather day today. So it is also kind of a rest day. I cooked a big breakfast of hashbrowns, bacon, and left over burrito stuff. Over all I think everyone was pretty full. I think today is just going to turn into a big eating extravaganza. Which is good sometimes we need that up here. The problem is the weather is undesirable. The winds blew really heavy last night... (broken up and muddled for about 1 minute more before being cut off.)

Andrew,
Praying for you! Miss you so much.

Paul - Know you're ok, but barely hanging in there awaiting some word from you. Please call asap. Looked closely at your route via Google Earth, and talked to Jim Woodmency re weather patterns over the Gulf. Wish you could all just avoid Motorcycle Hill, but Woody said it looks good for you all once you're above 14,000'. Please be overly safe, and do call asap. I miss & love you beyond words, like corned beef loves hash, and then some. Jeanne
P.S. Whitney says Nanoo, nanoo and wants to know what planet you're from.
Hey Selina, We're checking your progress every day! Keep going, the girls are rooting for you. Love, the Bartletts.
